What we use
Three categories, and only one of them is automatic
Strictly necessary
No consent neededKeeps pages routing properly, protects forms from abuse, and remembers that you have already sent an enquiry so you do not get duplicate replies. It also stores your cookie choice itself.
Analytics
Off until you say yesAggregate counts of visits and page popularity, measured with Google Analytics (GA4), so we know which stories earn their keep. Nothing loads until you opt in, IP addresses are anonymised, and if you change your mind we switch it off and clear the cookies. No advertising profiles, no selling anything on.
Embedded media
Off until you say yesThird-party video or maps set their own storage when they load. Decline and we show a still image instead.
